Overture 02:11
2.
Abstraction 04:27
i remember so well the first time we met i was driving asleep and you woke me violently shooting out sparks all around me in a fume of burnt metal you left me inside out on the wrong side of life but even if i know you well i’ll never be ready for you but even if i know you can take me anywhere anytime you’re still an abstraction to me
3.
Good Pupil 03:26
i’m a good pupil i belong to anyone i’m a good pupil i don’t know where i’m bound i guess i’m bound for nowhere do i really care ? my life is a game i let you play my life is a jail i’m a good pupil i belong to anyone i’m a good pupil i don’t know where i’m bound do i really care ? my mind is elsewhere i act as a slave
4.
A Bedroom 03:21
the clanks of the oil stove that’s just been turned off the gorilla’s eyes behind the shutters the fox tail sticking out of mother troll’s dress the delightfully pervasive scent of the sheets stowed away in the wardrobe for so long the omnipresent dampness that causes unbearable itches deep in my throat the wall lamps i wish i could have at home the gap between the bed and the wall, so dark that i never ventured there the undulating figures that the sun shapes on the curtains through the shutters so many memories that can no longer be shared and that probably never could have been
5.
my life is nothing except when i leave behind evidence of beauty i’m so ordinary but when i create the beauty there’s a light in me for a few seconds i feel like a hero captured by joy and sorrow but sometimes i let the beauty go
6.
maybe i told you that i love you but did i ever say that i respect you ? leave me my selfishness and keep your love for yourself i never wanted it ‘cause i never needed it i just want sex i want nothing else but your body i want to empty my balls and my mind whenever i wish to you may think i’m your lover after all you’re the only one involved but don’t come with plans i would hate to waste my life with you
7.
B Side 02:10
8.
i want to practice the fine art of surfacing avoiding to drown i just need a sweet life ‘cause i’m too weak to fight i just want the music of birds and leaves dancing in the trees in summertime i want to practice the fine art of surfacing avoiding to drown i just need an easy life ’cause i’m too weak to fight
9.
oh i wish i could walk forever in the winter snow oh i wish i could forget about myself and fade away oh i wish i could explode in a million particles and split in the air i wish i could
10.
motionless in motion watching snowy landscapes through the window of a train dreaming of never ending journeys wandering in never ending spaces motionless in motion i see a single star shining bright and a black tree lost in a white field i see the beauty of an ending night and a coming day i see the birth of colors motionless in motion i’ll watch the seasons come and go through the window of a train dreaming of never ending journeys wandering in never ending spaces
11.
Accurately 02:12
do you remember our first kiss accurately ? do you remember the touch of our tongues accurately ? was it as sweet for you as it was for me ? and now is it the same for you and me ? do you remember our first kiss accurately ?
12.
if you had time to play the waiting game you could find out the rule autumn weather turns leaves into flames spring sun gives birth to shadows summer wind dances with trees winter frost makes people fall into a second childhood if you had time to live with me we could together find out the way it goes
13.
(...) 01:15
14.
this bitter scratch of need that grips me by the throat at times blinds my thoughts and cools my body do you understand ? this call for motion excitement and novelty that gets me up every morning and keeps me alive do you understand ? time flying by intoxicates me and makes me dizzy i’d like to take off with it but it constantly gets away from me do you understand ? but then, this life that is mine that stretches out her arms to me i want to love and satisfy her like my most beautiful lover do you understand ?

about

STATION SERVICE (Patrick Peiffer)
